Keeping It All In Perspective

That’s me and my new husband!  *smile*

Sorry for my recent absence, but thanks to some great friends and business partners, I was able to enjoy my wedding week and honeymoon as every bride should…worry-free regarding work!

It’s Not Life or Death – For Most
It’s so important that throughout our lives we keep everything in perspective. Very few of us work in truly life-or-death situations and even though we all have deadlines and commitments, we must be realistic about where our priorities lie. And every person’s is different. You have to figure out what those are for you!

Advice from a Friend
While I could have been a workaholic before my honeymoon, trying to cram all my new ideas into the calendar before I left, I received an influential response email regarding a new idea I proposed to a business partner a few weeks before the wedding. He said, “As your colleague, I say let’s do it! But as your friend, I say hold off and enjoy your wedding.”

Thanks, Karl Richter, for helping me keep what’s truly important in perspective.

So hold on to your hats, folks, because Cara’s back from vacation and setting things in motion for a great next quarter! Watch for more!
